Hotel Alem is situeted In a thick pine forest and right next to the sea, in tourist resort Basko Polje, the western part of the Makarska Riviera.

This part of the Adriatic coast is one of the sunniest areas of the northern Mediterranean, with over 2700 hours of sunshine annually.

Hotel Alem and annexes are a total of 99 double rooms and 198 double rooms with extra bed, each has a balcony overlooking the sea or the park. With nine double suites with a sea-side hotel and annexes Alem have four and two villas. Guests have at their disposal a rich gastronomic offer in the restaurant where the breakfast buffet and dinner-type consisting of three menus, and meals a la carte can enjoy the nearby beach restaurant. Within the tourist resort is located in supermarkets, souvenir shop and cafe, which further enriched the offer. With its 738 seats, the camp which is an integral part of the tourist resorts, can accommodate 2214 persons, and in 17 bungalows equipped with shower and toilet has 54 beds. With hygienic facilities (shower, WC) camp has a laundry machine, and kitchenware, as well as frigo boxes and tables for ironing. Within the camp there is a supermarket, green market, shop for bread and rolls, and a restaurant, while during the summer months of organized entertainment program for children and adults.
